These times of pandemic has presented unprecedented busyness and challenge to us as health professionals. While we have risen to the challenge, we have also experienced the trauma that can arise inwitnessing the suffering of so many within the container of our own physical and emotional fatigue.
Retreat offers a crucial space and time to unplug from our myriad responsibilities in order to focus upon healing and refuge. During times of challenge we are called upon to adjust and refocus our energy and effort. This 4 day online retreat offers just such an opportunity to rest and digest while reconnecting with yourself and your community.
The format of the retreat will include multiple guided meditation periods during the day, teachings on mindfulness and self compassion, and many opportunities to practice self guided sitting and walking practice in between the virtual sessions. The retreat is purposefully organized to allow significant time for rest and personal time.
While it can be useful to do this retreat from the comfort of your home, it can also be quite beneficial to retreat in an Airbnb, or similar accommodation, to really give yourself space to practice.
